Jules Winstanley, founder & owner of TCS in Teddington has created a unique & evolving style emporium. Established in 1996, TCS came about almost by chance. After gaining an HND in Dress Design & Clothing Technology at Jacob Kramer college in Leeds, Jules went on to work in product development, design, quality, merchandising & buying for a variety of well-known companies. During a career break Jules worked in the store that preceded TCS (The Clothing Store). When the store was put on the market, Jules decided to grab the opportunity & bought the business. It had never really been an aim, but it was a move which allowed Jules the freedom to create a boutique unlike any other, based around her own eclectic & unique style. In 1997, Jules was able to buy the freehold of the entire building & in 2000 the shop floor was extended & a major re-fit took place. The Clothing Store was re-launched as TCS.
In 2010 Jules realised her long-held ambition to develop the store further & take the shop up onto another level. The additional space upstairs increased the light & spacious feel of the store & offers more areas for creative display. The whole concept of TCS is based around Jules' own creative dressing, putting commercial collections together in an individual way, retaining the spirit of the collection, stamping it all with such a sense of personality & style.
Offering the most friendly & helpful service, all the TCS girls have a passionate knowledge of the wonderful products in the store. Never pushy or over-zealous in their approach, they ensure each customer has help only where it is required.
